A fun and very interactive online class for beginners who want to learn the basics of this beautiful and useful language. The class will include reading, listening, speaking, and grammar. It will be presented in an engaging way, using simple technology to make it even more useful and interactive. Becoming bilingual at any age has many benefits for your brain, makes travel more rewarding, and increases awareness of different cultures.
The instructor is not a native speaker but loves sharing her knowledge and love of languages with students like her who are interested in other cultures. She is a licensed teacher in MA and NH, and has many years of experience, and many happy students who have achieved great levels of proficiency in Spanish.
In addition, our classes are small and customizable, we aim to make them fun so you can keep learning and achieve success.
Since Elizabeth lives locally, an in-person lesson or a class outing may be offered occasionally if all students agree. There are two sessions being offered, Level 1 & Level 2.
Senora Conroy has many years of experience teaching Spanish in public schools in MA. Her adventurous spirit has also taken her around the world – she has taught English in Japan and the Philippines in the 1980’s and she did the famous trek in Europe El Camino De Santiago where she practiced her Spanish skills.
She has a BA in Elementary and Bilingual Education from Boston College and a MA in Educational Management from Lesley University.
She also has many currently active certifications and professional Licenses, including: Sheltered English Immersion (SEI), Elementary Education, Bilingual Elementary K-8 education, and more.
