Emerson, Shakespeare, and the Art of Being a Person

An omnipresent humanity coordinates all his faculties. He is strong, as nature is strong.” In three lecture-discussion sessions we will explore the thoughts and admonitions left for us by these two authors. We will evaluate which of their practical ideas are useful and which are outdated in our own life experience.
