Charcuterie Tray Workshop: Creating a Colorful & Delicious Display

Learn how to create a beautiful charcuterie tray that is perfect for any occasion! During this one-night, interactive class we will go over how to select and beautifully present the perfect combination of cheese, meat, and other flavor complements such as fruit, spreads, nuts, crackers, and dried fruit. You will watch a presentation and then make your own unique small tray (4-6 person) by practicing and selecting from different charcuterie food stations. $40 additional fee to be paid to Adrienne at the class includes all food along with a disposable tray for easy transportation home. Come experience mixed drink recipes for when you want to pull out all the stops! What is a craft cocktail? There’s actually some contention when it comes to the definition, but here’s our professional opinion. A craft cocktail is a hand-crafted alcoholic mixed drink made with fresh ingredients and no pre-made mixes. Join Sudbury Garden Club Co-President Jo Ann Forester and other SGC members to try your hand at flower arranging with a twist... Make a creative arrangement for yourself and one for a neighbor in need! Brighten the day of some of Sudbury's senior citizens with these colorful arrangements. Learn elements of floral design as well as how to care for an arrangement to achieve long-lasting freshness. Come as you are, bring some clippers or scissors, and leave with a small floral design to brighten your home and a happy heart knowing you have made several arrangements to be delivered in town by the Sudbury Garden Club. French Macaron Basics

The course will begin with tasting pre-made samples and then the instructor will demonstrate the process of macaron making. Jewelry Basics: Beaded Gemstone Bracelet

In this class students will learn to make a leather closure to make this classic bracelet. Class includes all materials, step by step instructions, and use of tools. Each student will select beads, instructions will be given on placement, design, and final layout. Students will incorporate findings and small beads to stabilize design. Step by step instructions will be given on attaching clasps, securing ends, and final assembly. No discounts.

Jewelry Basics: Lampwork Bead Valentine Earrings

Lampwork beads are handmade by blowing and shaping molten glass over and through a torch, using tools and hand movements to form amazing and intricate designs. This glasswork technique is alive with mesmerizing colors and fascinating details. Beads produced in this fashion make excellent focal points in necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Learn about a locally grown product made in Maynard, Massachusetts. Come join us for an evening of observing how the delicious treat of maple syrup is made from the sap of local sugar maple trees. We will take you through the steps of sap collection and boiling down the sap into maple syrup; mother nature’s natural sweetener. You will see a short film that explains the maple process and hear how Maynard Maple operates and produces our maple syrup. We will offer information on how to tap your own trees and boil the sap into syrup. A maple tasting is included!

Not Your Average Paint Class: Gal/Guy/Pal/Valentine’s Day! – TikTok’s Canvas Swap Challenge

Participants will pair up and take turns painting on each other’s canvas. Each person has 10 minutes to add to the painting. Once the 10 minutes are up, you’ll switch with your buddy and you’ll have another 10 minutes to add to each other’s paintings. The painting will constantly be changing, so you never know what it’s going to turn out like in the end! This challenge is a great fun activity to do with your significant other, best friend, sisters/brothers, roommate, it doesn’t matter so long as you have someone to swap with. If you’re stuck and cannot find someone, but still want to participate, sign up as an individual and we’ll pair you up with someone that night. This is a great way to meet new members of the community! No experience needed. All materials included!

Lessons are given in 8-week sessions in your choice of format: in-person or online. Lessons take place after school, weekday evenings or Saturday mornings. Soap Making: Oatmeal Shea Butter

Calling all artisan soapers! Come make an amazing oatmeal shea butter soap from start to finish. This handmade soap is a wonderful gift, or a lovely treat for yourself. Participants can expect to leave with the skills and knowledge to craft their own soap, plus 10 fresh bars of soap to bring home! All materials and instructions provided. Please do not wear your best clothes. Please bring an apron as it may get messy. We use high-quality, therapeutic grade essential oils and products that are all-natural and free of additives.
