The Krapanky - This workshop will provide an opportunity for you to learn the art of Pysanky from a native Ukrainian, receive an abundance of information about the history, symbols meaning, and, of course, create your own beautiful Pysanka in the traditional wax-resist method using real chicken egg, "kistka", beeswax, candle, and color dyes.
Alona is Ukrainian and Pysankarstvo (the art of making pysanky) came into her life as a hobby that turned into her absolute love. For almost a decade she has been creating pysanky on a weekly basis and in 2022 started to offer masterclasses. Alona would love to share her knowledge with you and introduce you to this centuries-old Ukrainian tradition.
