In this timely and informative class, Dr. Kreidberg will review how to detect the signs of Tick Borne Diseases including Lyme disease as well as discuss other important warm weather infectious and zoonotic diseases. She will also discuss common household toxins, how to prevent Heat Stroke and recognize the early signs and basic response to emergencies. This class will address concerns for dogs and cats only and there will be ample time for questions.

Lori Kreidberg

Veterinarian

Dr. Lori Kreidberg has been practicing veterinary medicine in the greater Boston area for over 36 yrs. She provided comprehensive house call care in the Metrowest area for 20 of those years and is currently practicing at Second Chance Animal Services, a non profit, low cost animal hospital serving the low income community in Worcester. Dr. Kreidberg majored in Biology at Rutgers College before attending Tufts University, School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in1988. She went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery in West Hartford, Connecticut. Her particular areas of interest include feline medicine, geriatric medicine, infectious disease and oncology, but facing new and different challenges everyday and helping owners and pets navigate through these challenges are what she loves most about being a vet.
