An ideal class for teens or adults who have always wanted to learn the guitar. Learn to play chords, strumming patterns, riffs, and melodies within the context of popular songs.
Participants should bring an acoustic guitar to class.
Jason studied music at Berklee College of Music and earned a B.A. in Music at the University of New Hampshire. He is an active performer in the Boston area, versatile in many styles of music including funk, jazz, rock, blues, metal and hip hop. Jason has performed with many bands including Mighty Sam McClain, Sam Kininger Band, Bellamy Bros., Vitamin C, The Aaron Katz Band, and Headshaft. Jason has also performed with band members from The Trey Anastasio Band, John Scofield Band, Beyonce, Eric Benet, and Soulive. Jason has been teaching guitar professionally for almost 30 years.
