Don’t just LISTEN to the music, PLAY!! Yes, you too, can be part of an adult concert band or string ensemble and experience the joy of making instrumental music with others. Haven’t played your trumpet (flute, clarinet, violin, cello…) in 30 years? We have some members who came back to their instruments after 50 and 60 and even 70 years of not playing! Never played an instrument and have no clue what those little black marks are on the paper? We’ll help you figure out how to get started, get connected with a teacher, and in a few weeks, sit in with our group!Sudbury Valley New Horizons Band or Sudbury Valley New Horizons String Ensemble is your entrance to the world of instrumental music in a non-competitive and non-intimidating musical environment.
