Chocolate Tasting
Creative & Culinary Arts
Did you know chocolate comes from a fruit? Join Tom Rogan of Sudbury’s own Goodnow Farms Chocolate to learn more about how single origin chocolate is sourced and made. Most chocolate is candy made with cheap additives by large multinational corporations using inexpensive cacao. But, Goodnow Farms single origin chocolate is a food made with fine flavor, directly sourced cacao beans. Tom will guide you through the entire process, from how he and his wife Monica personally source their cacao beans from farmers in Latin America to how they make their award-winning chocolate by hand in their Sudbury chocolate kitchen. You’ll then taste the flavor differences for yourself as Tom leads you on a tasting of several of Goodnow Farms single origin bars. This class will forever change the way you look at chocolate! It’s also interactive, so you'll be able to ask questions, and bars will be available for purchase after the class. Class makes a great gift!
