Coastal Piloting, or the Weekend Navigation Seminar, is a 12-week advanced instruction for those who have already completed a basic boating course. It covers aids to navigation, the earth and its coordinates, Mercator projection, piloting, correcting compass errors, dead reckoning, tides and currents, radio navigation and more. Course materials are $60 and are paid directly to the USCG in class. No Discounts.
