A fun and very interactive online class for beginners who want to learn the basics of this beautiful and useful language. The 8-week class will include reading, listening, speaking, and grammar. It will be presented in an engaging way, using simple technology. Our goal at Fun World Language Academy is to help students on their journey to proficiency while also making learning interesting, in order to aid motivation for continued learning. Becoming bilingual at any age has many benefits for your brain, makes travel more rewarding, and increases awareness of different cultures. Please note: students will need to be able to use Zoom to join the class. It is best if the students also have a gmail account in order to access the homework and practice information we offer as an extra benefit in this class.
Jill Frechette of Fun World Language Academy has a passion for foreign languages. She has over 26 years of experience teaching in public schools in MA. She has traveled to Spain numerous times to accompany students who a learning the language. She has also spent a summer studying in Madrid, Spain’s beautiful capital.
Her education includes a B.A. in Spanish from UMASS Lowell and M.A.T. from Rivier College in NH. She is a MA certified Spanish teacher, and also has experience teaching English as a second language. In addition, Jill holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Worcester State University.
