This class is open to intermediate level only.This class will build upon the basics of metalsmithing learned in the beginner class through appropriate level projects that will challenge you to take your skills to the next level. Skills you will learn include sawing and piercing; filing; polishing; joining; soldering and stone setting to name a few. You will make samples and go home with some finished jewelry. Prerequisite:Beginning Jewelry or the equivalent.
Material kits will be supplied at cost for projects, payable to the instructor.
Theresa Carmichael teaches jewelry making classes at LexArt and is a graduate of LSRHS, where she first learned silversmithing.
