Did you know that for nearly a hundred years, Maynard was the wealthiest town in the area? How did this come to be, and what has happened since then? Walk around downtown Maynard with your guide, Maynard Historical Commission member Ann Gibson, and learn about the history of Maynard from 1600-1950. The tour will cover 1.5 miles walking, including uneven surfaces.

Ann Gibson is the Coordinator of the Driver Education program and has taught driving since 2022. She has a masters degree in teaching and is a MA licensed high school teacher. She also works at the Concord Museum, gives historical tours, and is a parent of two teenagers. She is a member of the Maynard Historical Commission.
