Learn to quill with your very own DIY kit from Quilling Card! Join us for an in person tutorial of the ancient art form of quilling. Perfect for beginners or more advanced crafters. You will be taught about the history of the art form and how to do it for yourself! Bring your glasses and patience! For ages 16 - adult.

Woodcock Walks Guided by Michele Grzenda
Enter the realm of the incredible American woodcock. Learn about its unique mating dance and habitat requirements as we enjoy a beautiful spring sunset walk. We'll listen and look for the woodcock's flight with helpful hints from recordings, photographs, and a reading from Sand County Almanac. We'll hike at a gentle pace about a mile from the parking lot to the woodcock display area. Two dates.Note: Bring a pair of binoculars, flashlight, bug spray, and a field guide, if you have one. We'll go in light rain, so wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Directions emailed to registered students.

Savor the experience during an evening hosted by two of our favorite instructors. Adrienne Dunne demonstrates how to make delicate scones that you will prepare and later take home to bake. Afterward, you will enjoy those delicate treats while sipping a cup of tea or herbal tea, provided by Hartley Johnson, Sudbury's resident tea aficionado. Relax, sip and enjoy while Hartley discusses the many aspects of the world of specialty teas including an overview of the numerous varieties of tea, the history of tea and its place in cultures around the world. We will learn how teas are produced and how to brew the perfect cup.

Sugar Cookie Decorating

Learn the tips and tricks to create professional-looking cookies! Decorating techniques with royal icing provided include flooding and wet on wet designs. Using sugar cookies you have baked ahead of time, or store bought, we'll create puffed designs, geometric patterns, and flowers. $12 additional fee to be paid to Adrienne at the class includes all decorating ingredients. This is a fun teenage and parent/child class too! . **Round cookies work with all of Adrienne’s designs. Recipes will be provided to try on your own at home.

Indulge your senses with the sweet aroma of freshly baked cinnamon buns, whether you're a baking enthusiast or a beginner. Create these delectable treats from scratch at LS, guided by an experienced chef, and bring HOME TO BAKE. In this hands-on session, you'll learn the secrets behind the perfect dough, the art of rolling and shaping, and the tantalizing spice blend for the signature cinnamon filling. Discover the trick to achieving that irresistible gooey texture and golden-brown crust. A short list of baking utensils will be sent in advance (rolling pin, large & small bowl, knife). PLEASE BRING 9 X 13 BAKING DISH, GLASS PREFERRED. Additional $15 food fee to be paid in person.
