Mah Jongg: Introduction - Learn to Play

Health, Fitness & Games -
Spring 2024

Mah Jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world. It is a fun game of strategy, quick thinking, and luck, relatively easy to learn, and rewarding to play for years to come. In our 4 sessions together, you will learn the tiles, the hands, the card, and the basics of how to deal, pass, and play the game. This course is geared towards teaching newcomers or those that need a refresher on the basics. Players will need to supply their own playing card, available here: https://www.nationalmahjonggleague.org/store.aspx#. *Your course confirmation will indicate which card to purchase.
